This year's theme, powered by Sports Direct's Monster Kickabout, brings a special one-off Euro 2024 event that emphasises football as a means to engage young people in 60 minutes a day of PE, sport and play. Partnering with Nike, the campaign aims to ‘put the all back into football’ while promoting fun, inclusivity, and the importance of regular physical activity.

Schools

By registering, schools will receive free equipment, resources, lesson plans, classroom activities co-designed by young people for young people.  

We will be bringing all your favourite sports and school subjects together through football, helping teachers host a weeklong National School Sports Week celebration encouraging young people to get their 60 minutes a day of PE, sport and play!

Sports Star Friday is an exciting celebration of young people’s love for sport and play where everyone can show how they like to get active with a sporty themed dress up day. On this special day, we invite you to dress up as your favourite sporting hero or sport and join us in supporting Youth Sport Trust initiatives nationwide.​

It's easy to get involved! Simply don your sports gear, gather your friends, colleagues, classmates, or pupils, and join us for a day filled with fun and fundraising. Got your own ideas? There are many ways to get active, show your support and make a difference. Whether it's a friendly game of football, 10k steps a day challenge, or a team challenge, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while making a positive impact.
